Claudius ptolemaeus (Ptolemy) Claudius Ptolemy is a Greco-Egyptian

astronomer. Ptolemy said that the earth is the centre

of the universe and the sun, planets, stars and moon moved around it.

Galileo Galilei Is an Italian astronomer. Galilei built the telescope and examined

the skies with it. He discovered the 4 main satellites of

jupiter and he came up with the conclusion that the sun is the centre of the universe not the earth.
