THE BEGINNING OF THE PROGRAM «SEA BREEZE»

The beginning of the program was based on the proposed text of the analytical programs of the Anthology of B class “X ... .. as Xerxes' where heroes are two fishes, the swordfish and the bream.

The children were divided into 4 teams and each team undertook to transform swordfish or bream in the form

they wanted.

So there were created four new heroes: the witch, the princess, the painter and the pirate. With these heroes children all together wrote their own fairy tail.

The title of the fairy tail: “The adventures of witch Kakomelanouritsa”.

Then we discussed what children have in their minds when they hear the word “sea”. After the discussion they decided to create their own sea!!!!!

Children researched and collected images, grouping living beings of Mediterranean sea.

Mr. Kostas Pathiakis, who is diving, helped us to distinguish those that exists at our area.

The sixth grade completed information about the depths in which all living beings of

our marine area live and grow up.

Then the second grade (section B1) in cooperation with the sixth grade began a three -dimensional construction, in which will be presented

the fauna of the seas of our region in the depths we find them.

The sixth grade designed and cut fishes in newspapers, giving, in this

way, an ecological message.

The same thing did and the children of second grade.

Mr. Antonis Skordylakis, Officer of the Greek Navy, organized a

presentation about the history of ships from ancient times until today, the parties of the ship

and the construction stages. All kids of the school attended this

presentation.

Dictionary of the sea.

The children undertook to find words that are related to the sea, create their own definition for each word and draw the

words.
