use BYOD to...• Engage in authentic learning experiences that involve

collaboration, inquiry and research

• Access and evaluate information

• Synthesize knowledge to create and communicate

• Develop self directed learning skills

• Strengthen ability to solve problems and find solutions

• Model the safe and appropriate use of technology

● LMS platform that enables teachers and students to

collaborate online

● Students access assignments, turn them in, and receive

grades on Edmodo

● Prepares students for middle school transition

● Students will sign up for Edmodo at school and help their

Parents sign up for access at home

Office 365

● Enables teachers and students to collaborate online using

Office Suite - Word, PPT, Excel

● Very Important: parents must respond to CCSD email to

provide consent for Option 1 - student use of the web version

of Office 365

● Email sent to registered parent HOH

● Check Spam folder

● School clerk can resend email via parent request

Class Dojo

● Electronic “Target Tracker” records attendance and

classroom performance

● Positive and Needs Work behaviors are aligned with Target

Progress Reports

● Enter code on parent invite for access to your student’s

awesomeness

● Email reminders sent each Friday

● Broadcast messages will be sent using DOJO for class

reminders
