TITUS TRANSFORMS INFRASTRUCTURE COST CENTRES INTO PROFIT CENTRES:1. TITUS works to integrate proven real estate and utility development models that leverage

cash flows from mixed use developments to create off setting cash flow for the renewable utilities taking the burden away from the tax payer;

2. TITUS partners with world class modular renewable energy and water reuse technology providers to maximize the benefit to the local community;

3. TITUS partners with local municipalities to maximize the benefits to the community;4. TITUS creates world class jobs in sustainability along with destination retail, commercial

and recreational establishments transforming infrastructure into a destination.

TITUS USES MODULAR RENEWABLE TECHNOLOGIES TO:1. Start Small Start Modular⇒2. Avoid High First Costs & Encourage Innovation3. Avoid Single Points of Failure4. Control Critical Success Factors5. building on Environmental Cornerstones6. Accelerating Environmental Change

SIMPLE, FAST, COST EFFECTIVE RENEWABLE INFRASTRUCTURE

Page 4: Volume 1: WATER RECLAMATION, REUSE AND HEAT RECOVERY

1. TITUS looks for opportunities to invest in renewable infrastructure where mixed use development and commercial opportunities maximize the value of the opportunity.

2. In the example below, a municipal scale, modular water reclamation facility (behind the 10 meter high water fall) is surrounded by commercial, retail and residential complex.

3. A modular gasification system is used to convert all the waste from the complex and biosolids into electricity and thermal energy.

4. Sales revenues pay down upfront capital.5. Lease and royalty revenue pay down operating costs.

TRANSFORMING COST CENRES INTO PROFIT CENTRES

1. TITUS partners with the local municipality to act as the regulator, to ensure the municipality’s interests are aligned and the public’s benefit is maximized

2. Local municipalities receive both new tax revenues as well as royalties from the integrated development.

3. The community transforms a cost centre into a vibrant destination 4. Reclaimed water and renewable energy provide for the local development and

surrounding community.

1. Just in Time Modular Water Reclamation and Heat Recovery – matches capital and operating costs to revenues and current and future land use;

2. TITUS works with developers planning to develop mixed use developments to capitalize and provide turnkey modular water and energy reclamation plants to:• Reduce the downstream flow to extend the useful life of downstream facilities;• Recover and reuse the resources locally;• Create local jobs;• Maximize surrounding environmental and economic benefits.

TITUS – RESPONDING TO CHANGING DEMOGRAPHICS AND LAND USE

Page 7: Volume 1: WATER RECLAMATION, REUSE AND HEAT RECOVERY

1. TITUS work with developers who are planning to develop dense mixed use developments upstream, to capitalize and provide turnkey modular water and energy reclamation plants can be used to:• Reduce the downstream flow to extend the useful life of downstream facilities;• Recover and reuse the resources locally;• Create jobs locally;• Create local utility and commercial revenues.

TITUS – RESPONDING TO CHANGING DEMOGRAPHICS AND LAND USE

WHY THIS STRATEGY MAKES SENSE?1. Encourages development, growth, environmental sustainability and investment security.2. Transforms unsustainable infrastructure projects into growth opportunities. 3. Repeatable framework improves Fiscal, Social and Environmental benefits for everyone.

TITUS – RESPONDING TO CHANGING DEMOGRAPHICS AND LAND USE

Page 8: Volume 1: WATER RECLAMATION, REUSE AND HEAT RECOVERY

WHY THIS STRATEGY WINS?1. This strategy wins because we turn public cost centres into business opportunities.2. This strategy wins because we create opportunities for people to “Do Business”3. This strategy wins because we enable the local community to win.4. This strategy wins because we enable renewable infrastructure!

MAXIMIZING TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE BENEFITS FOR ALL
