How to Become Certified?In order to be certified as Work Ready, a community must meet each of the following criteria:
> Letter of commitment to workforce excellence from county leaders
> Growth in high school graduation rate> Increase in the number of Career Readiness Certifications
issued to the total labor force> Employers committed to excellence in workforce by written
notification that they prefer or require the Career Readiness Certificate for recruitment and hiring

Local TeamSteering committee must be comprised of team members representing the following:
> Local chamber of commerce> Economic development> Elected official> K-12 education> Community College> Workforce Development Board> Employer
