Overview

• This document shows how to get trade and economic data of country from WTO web site.

• The information includes – Population, GDP, and Export & Import

– Effective tariff rate

– Volume of merchandize trade, breakdown by main commodity group and by main trade partners

– Volume of service trade, breakdown by main service group

Go to www.wto.org

Select “Documents, Data and Resources” on top banner

Select “Statistics”

Click “Merchandise Trade”

Click “Statistical Database (SDB)” under “Databases and Time Series”

Click “Trade Profiles”

“Trade Profile” window pops up and click “Selection” on left side banner

Choose a country from list under “Available Profiles”, then click “Add”

You can add up to ten countries. Once finished, click “Continue”

Select a country tab to view trade and economic statistics of the country

To print the information, click “view Printable version”

To download the information, click “Download” on the left side banner

You can save the information in HTML Format
