John M. Silvis, CFA Director of Investments

John, a CFA charterholder, serves as Director of Investments at Fairport. As such, John manages the research of the investment team, determines the asset allocation of Fairports portfolios and oversees investment decisions on a day-to-day basis. John provides clients, prospects and internal staff with guidance about Fairports investment philosophy, process and performance. John brings over fifteen years of experience to the Investment Team and has been with the firm since 2000. Prior to Fairport, he was employed at National City Bank and Mellon Bank.

John obtained his BA in Economics at Penn State and his MBA at Baldwin Wallace College. John is a member of the CFA Institute, as well as the Cleveland Society of Financial Analysts.

John resides in Strongsville, Ohio with his wife Lori and three children.

Kenneth J. Coleman Managing Partner

Ken serves as Managing Partner at Fairport. Prior he served as the President, Chief Operating Officer &Chief Compliance Officer. In his current role, he is responsible for Human Resources, Compliance,Finance, Operations, Information Technology and Client Teams.Kens management experience covers twenty years in the financial service industry including insurance and wealth management. Ken joined Fairport in 1999. Current board membership and civic involvement includes Midtown Cleveland Inc. where Ken serves asChairman of the Board. He also serves as a Board Member of a Private Family Foundation. Ken attended Ashland College and graduated with a B.A. in Management and Economics. Ken resides in Solon, Ohio with his wife Jan and has two children and two grandchildren.
