• Established in 1962.
• Currently running 6 villages and 1
youth center.
• In 2014 helping 400 children.
• Aiming to reach at least 1,000
children in 2018.
• Increasing our share of preventive
work through Family Strengthening

• Tampere (2012)
• Vantaa (to be est. 2016)
• Integration into local communities.
• Minimizing the “stigma” of being placed in alternative care.

• Extension with 3rd home opened in
2014.
• 13 children living here.
• In 2015-2016 4 new homes planned
to open.
• Financial support needed for finalizing
the project.
• In 2016 it is estimated that 20-30
children live in the village and some
60 are reached by the FSP.
