More About Biometrics
Biometrics refers to the measurement and analysis of biological data, especially for identification and authentication. The data may include fingerprints, characteristics such as voice patterns and facial expressions, and DNA. Since its development in the early 1900s, biometrics has assisted scientists in areas ranging from analyzing agriculture experiments and pollution trends to comparing different treatments for diseases.
