– Census NI: ILO (three conditions – not working previous week,

available and looking for work)

– Census RoI: Principal Economic Status (single census question: at work,

unemployed, homemaker etc)

• Re-classification undertaken by CSO to adjust PES unemployment rates to

ILO rates
