You have the job - now you have to shine from Day 1

• Listen intently in every single discussion & meeting• Ask questions but choose your moment• Make a mistake but don’t make the same one twice • Be accountable and apologise if necessary • Don’t surprise your boss – be direct and honest

• Be on time every day for at least the first year

• Look the part every day

• If you are sick- ring your boss don’t text produce a cert

• Work exceptionally hard and show your talent

• Don’t depend on email – pick up the phone
