This flyer provides an overview of the agenda for the first Islamic financial markets forum in Oman organized by Thomson Reuters and Zawya as part of its Islamic Finance Gateway initiative in conjunction with the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI) and Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI), member of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group. The objective of the forum will be to discuss the opportunities and challenges of setting up Islamic financial markets operations in Oman considering Oman's unique approach to regulating its Islamic finance sector. Hear from thought leaders, bankers, Shariah scholars and prominent industry experts who will discuss how Oman will interact with the global Islamic interbank markets, fixed income and wealth management sectors.
