Winnipeg, MB - May 15, 2014 - Pilita Corrales,known as Asia's Queen
of Song, will perform withthe Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra tonight
at 8:00 pm at the Centennial Concert Hall.
Filipino performerPilita Corrales hasbeen wowingaudiences around
theworld since the 1950'sand is well known forher versatility
insinging, acting,modelling, hosting andbeing an entertainer. She
was the very firstFilipino artist toperform at CaesarsPalace in Las
Vegasat the personal
initiation of Sammy Davis, Jr. and has recorded atleast 128
albums. In 2012, she became a judge forThe X Factor Philippines.
For this concert, she will sing in Spanish, Filipinoand English. A
few well-known songs in Englishinclude Celine Dion's My Heart Will
Go On andLeonard Cohen's Hallelujah. She will also performsome of
her original songs such as Pipit, Matud Nilaand Paano.
