Related ITU-R Recommendation ITU-R RS.1804 (Technical and operational characteristics of Earth exploration-satellite service (EESS) systems operating above 3 000 GHz) (2007)
recommends1that operators of EESS systems operating above 3 000 GHz should take into account the possibility of interference from transmitters of the science services (including those of EESS) in their selection of mission requirements and choices of sensor design;
