Preamble The information and technology in this whitepaper refers to the date it was written or revised. We do our best to keep the content as up to date as possible. Sometimes the installation of the uniFLOW Server fails, because the Default Web Site on the IIS is deleted or damaged. This whitepaper explains, how to configure the IIS and then to reinstall the uniFLOW Server.
1. Uninstalling the uniFLOW Server
There are two possibilities to begin:
a. You have already installed the uniFLOW Server and you get an error if you start the server. The service doesn’t start. b. You have to install the uniFLOW Server and you know that the Default Web Site is deleted or damaged. If point b. applies, please refer to chapter 2 and start from there. If point a. applies, you first have to uninstall the uniFLOW Server. NOTE: Please note only to uninstall the uniFLOW Server. The Database (msde), the .NET Framework and the NT-Ware Statistic Engine shouldn’t be deleted.
