Join the second grade classes of Bayou View Ele-mentary on Tuesday, No-vember 17, for their music program titled "Give Thanks." They will be per-forming at 1:15 p.m. for the student body and any par-

ents or guests and again at 6:30 p.m. Both concerts will be in the Sportsmanship Station (gym). We will be recording the evening performance and making a souvenir DVD. DVDs are $10 each and may be paid for on the night of the concert or by November 20.

BVE celebrated World Kindness Day on November 13. World Kindness Day is a

global twenty-four hour celebration dedicated to paying it forward and focusing on the

good. During the celebration of World Kindness Day, the fourth grade class participated in

the Buddy Bench dedication. The Buddy Bench is a simple idea to eliminate loneliness and

foster friendship on the playground. The fourth grade, led by Marissa Wingerter, pledged

to be a buddy, not a bully.

That’s THIS Tuesday from 4:30-7:30 P.M. Priz-es are available...come to the annual Thanksgiving musical (where you can do the “Turkey Tango”)

and shop before and after! Purchase a book or certificate for your child’s homeroom and build the classroom library; we look forward to seeing you this Tuesday night!

Please join BVE in raising money to support the School Plus Program. The last day to order merchandise will be November 30. Money should be sent in an envelope addressed with the teacher’s name accompanied with the order form. Purchased items will be delivered before Christmas break. Thank you for your support.
