THREEGLOBALCARGOLOGISTICSNETWORKS-WORLDWIDEPROJECTCONSORTIUM,PRIORITYCARGONETWORKANDCARGOEQUIPMENTEXPERTS-ALLJOINWOC WorldOceanCouncil-theGlobalBlueEconomyBusinessOrganization-ExpandsitsScopeSignificantlywithThreeLeadingInternationalCargoLogisticsNetworks4July2019TheWorldOceanCouncilisproudtoannouncethatWorldwideProjectConsortium(WWPC),PriorityCargoNetworkandCargoEquipmentExperts(CEE)–comprisinghundredsofindividualcompanies–havejoinedtheWOCinternational,multi-industryallianceonactionandcollaborationinsupportofoceansustainabledevelopment.TheNetworksDirector,WolfgangKarau,stated,“Wegottotakecareofourplanetandcleanoceansforfuturegenerations.MostofourmembersarebasedclosetoshoresandwaterwaysandIamsurethatourmembershipwithWOCistherightsteptomanifestourcommitmenttowardsacleanertomorrow.”WOCCEOPaulHolthussaid,“WearehonouredtohavetheWorldwideProjectConsortium,PriorityCargoNetworkandCargoEquipmentExpertscomeonboardwiththeWOC.Maritimetransportandcargologisticsarecentraltoglobaleconomy,moving90%ofinternationaltrade-andarethusfundamentaltothefutureoftheocean.TheWOCembracesleadershipcompanieslargeandsmallfromacrossthesectorsandaroundtheglobeincreatingthecollaborationandactionneededonoceansustainabledevelopment.”WorldwideProjectConsortium(WWPC)wasfoundedin1998toconnectindependentprojectcargoforwardingcompanies,andtoprovideareferencesourceforshippers,carriersandforwardingpartnerstolocatequalityprojectcargospecialists.WWPCspanstheglobewithmembershipforonecompanypercountryordesignatedarea.Thiscreatesanessentialframeworkforconductingtradeintheprojectcargomarket,avoidingconfusionwithsubcontractorsandallowingtheconfidentialandprofessionalpreparationandhandlingofprojectrelatedtasks.PriorityCargoNetworkworkstoidentifydemandsfromgeneralfreightforwardersforcosteffectiveanddyamicnetworkpresentationwithastrongbrand.Withspecializedindependentfreightforwardermemberspercountry,thenetworkenablesparticipatingcompaniesto
