President’s Message
Hello Members Financial Members!
Here we are coming to the end of a very unusual summer and sliding into Fall. As much as I’m sure
most of us have plenty of reason to be happy to see summer 2021 ending with the hopes of the
economy improving and COVID 19 and the Delta variant soon to be under control. I take heart,
however, in our resilience – we have adjusted to so much change so quickly and we continue to find
ways to keep moving forward.
At Members Financial, we too are adjusting to our new normal. The Member’s Crew has been
phenomenal adjusting to all the changes since 2020 that we have put in place to protect staff and
members alike, and I count myself very lucky to lead a group of such passionate and dedicated
employees.
Over the next several months, be on the lookout because community events are coming back;
Breast Cancer Awareness, Food Bank Drives, Toy Drives, Sports, and other company sponsored
events. I hope you will be able to take part in some of these community events as we continue our
journey to normalcy.
As always, take a moment and ponder your next steps in your financial future, and how Members
Financial can support you.
Hoping this Fall brings you good health and happiness.
Thank you,
Becky Wisdom
President/CEO

Stretch Your Dollar with A Low-Rate CU Credit Card
Credit unions do all they can to help members stick to their budgets and stretch their earnings and that includes offering an affordable credit card.
In our current economy, the cost of living had increased significantly, even surpassing the average monthly income. Not only does this make saving difficult but also makes the use of credit cards among most consumers something of a necessity. In fact, one would be hard pressed to find an American without at least a single credit card in his or her wallet. For credit union members, it would be financially wise to make a CU credit card their primary choice.
Typically credit unions offer a low, fixed rate, no balance transfer fees, no cash advance fee, and no annual fee. So, if you are looking to better manage expenses and make your monthly moolah go a little further, start using that CU credit card in your wallet. If you don’t have one, apply today and take advantage of the special offers your credit union may be running.
Direct Deposit: Fast and Easy Money Management
If you get a recurring payment from your job, retirement plan or Social Security or are entitled to an income tax refund, use direct
deposit to your credit union account for fast and easy access. The funds are deposited electronically, usually to your checking account, and are available immediately. But if you have future, like a down payment on a vehicle or a house, college for the kids, or a vacation, you'll want to have some portion of your funds squirreled away into your share savings account. It's easy to arrange for an automatic transfer. Putting your savings on autopilot is a tried and true way of reaching your savings goals because what you don't see, you don't miss. That's especially the case if you stow away any pay raise you've received. Contact the credit union to find out how to use Direct Deposit to simplify your spending and savings plan.
