IT Specialists provide technical assistance to businesses and computer system users using a wide range of tools and technology in their work maintaining equipment on personal and enterprise computers. These troubleshooters help clients use computer hardware and software including printing, word processing, and e-mail by using automated diagnostic programs to analyze problems, and resolve recurrent difficulties. In addition, they use a host of software for functions, such as installing, backup or archival, desktop communications, operating systems, configuration management, internet directory services, database user interface and queries; file systems, and transaction security and virus protection. These issues are resolved in person, via telephone, or electronically.

IT Engineering In this program our graduates learn how to install, configure, and maintain the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012 operating systems in a standalone, workgroup, and domain environment. Graduates of this program can earn several MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certifications, their MCSA in Server 2012, their MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) in Server Infrastructure 2012, and one additional certification with their elective option.

IT Server Administration This program validates that our graduates have the skills needed to run a highly efficient and modern data center, with expertise and identity management, systems management, virtualization, storage, and networking. Database Administration This program demonstrates that our graduates can manage enterprise business solutions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They install and configure Microsoft SQL Server; and maintain relational databases, user accounts, database availability, recovery, and reporting. They also design and implement security and server automation, as well as monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server activity. Graduates of this program can earn their MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) in SQL Server 2012.
