What happen to JFK?

• President Kennedy was visiting Texas in November 1963, even though his advisers cautioned against it. Texas was extremely hostile territory, with many Texans violently in opposition to Kennedy and his policies. Kennedy's Texas itinerary included an open motorcade through the center of Dallas, a particularly violent anti-Kennedy city, concluding in a rally at Dallas' convention center. President Kennedy and his wife Jackie were in the back seat of their open motorcade. Just after the motorcade made the sharp turn into Dealey Plaza, it slowed down. Oswald fired upon the president. President Kennedy was killed.

Who was Lee Harvey Oswald?

• Lee Harvey Oswald was the man who “KILLED” JFK. He was a marine in the Untied States and a strong supporter of communism. He was a supporter of Fidel Castro and his revolution. He moved to the Soviet Union and obtained a citizenship there. He was a strong Marxist supporter. Oswald was initially arrested for the shooting murder of police officer J.D. Tippit in Dallas approximately 40 minutes after Kennedy was shot. Lee Harvey Oswald denied killing the police officer and president JFK. He said the only reason he was being involved was because he lived in the Soviet Union.

Lee Harvey Oswald and the Soviet Union?

• KGB officers who had an interest in Oswald when he was in the Soviet Union have testified that the KGB found him to be unstable and untrustworthy.

• One theory says that because of Oswald being unstable and untrustworthy he was subjected to mind control and ordered to kill JFK.

• Another theory is that Kennedy was assassinated because he was turning away from the Cold War and seeking a negotiated peace with the Soviet Union.

• The reason the Soviets would have wanted JFK dead was for revenge for what happen during the Cuban missile crisis.

• It was Johnson's belief that JFK's assassination had been organized by Castro as a retaliation for the CIA's efforts to kill Castro.

• Kennedy was trying to get to Castro, but Castro got to him first.
