Basement
The extra storage and living space that a basement can provide are aErac/ve, but the risk of flooding
should give you pause.
When looking in the basement check for signs of water damage and
inquiry about previous floods.
Also, many houses have system for removing water already installed.
Roof
The roof can be an extremely expensive feature of a house to do
maintenance on.
Check the roof thoroughly before buying.

light is coming through.
