What is the EAL?

The EAL is a Self Access Centre and is a service offered by the CRAI to provide both face-to-face and online support for language learning.

The service is for students who are learning English, Catalan, and Spanish.

The EAL can help you to

Improve your spoken and written language skills through the independent or guided use of its courses and services.

The EAL offers

• Learning materials and resources in different formats (paper, CD, DVD, online, etc.) for independent or guided learning.

• Access to computers with specific programmes and connections to foreign TV channels.

• Level tests and needs analyses in English.

• Learning support and personal or online supervision.

• Conversation groups in English for levels A2 to C1.

• Conversation groups in Catalan for level Basic.

• Language exchange bank featuring a wide range of languages.

• Resources for accrediting your level of English.

• Workshops and complementary activities.
