Colegio en Perú Fuente: Nuevos Horizontes
A partir de 2007 los alumnos de secundaria en Perú van a tener una hora más de clase cada día. La medida
afecta a los colegios estatales que funcionan con un sólo turno.
Las dos asignaturas que van a reforzar son: matemáticas y lenguaje. Según la medida del Ministerio de
Educación, tres de las cinco horas adicionales van a ser para la clase de lenguaje y las otras dos para
matemáticas.
Según el ministerio es un primer paso para aumentar las horas de estudio en los colegios públicos. El
ministerio también ha adelantado el comienzo de curso en 2007 que va a ser el uno de marzo, unos quince
días antes de lo habitual.

Diego Rivera Fuente: Nuevos Horizontes
Hoy hablaremos sobre el famoso muralista Mexicano Diego Rivera. El arte de Diego Rivera sentó los
precedentes de unos de los más pujantes movimientos de la pintura americana, el muralismo mexicano.
Diego María de la Rivera y Barrientos nació el 13 de diciembre de 1886 en León, Guanajuato. Desde los 5 años
Diego descubrió el amor por la pintura, así que sus padres cubrieron todas las paredes de un cuarto con papel
de estraza. Donde Diego pintaba en ellos a su antojo y realizó sus primeros murales.
La segunda madre de Diego fue Antonia, una nana india. Al tener Diego una salud muy mala, sus padres
decidieron que Antonia lo criara en las montañas. Fue en las montañas que Diego sacó inspiración y
desarrollo un gran amor a la cultura indígena.
A los 10 años ingresa a la Academia de Bellas Artes en San Carlos. En 1906 Diego ganó una beca del gobierno
de Vera Cruz y procede su formación pictórica en España, ingresando a la escuela de San Fernando en Madrid.
Desde allí Diego recurrió a Europa y finalmente en 1911 se establece en París. Allí Diego se deja fascinar por el
trabajo por Paul Cézanne y experimenta con el cubismo y otros novísimos estilos. Aun así la influencia más
grande la recibe de Picasso. Rivera decide exponer en parís e introduce sus pinturas cubistas: Paisajes
zapatistas y Marinero en el almuerzo.
A partir de entonces Diego Rivera muestra que su estilo era producto de la influencia de varios movimientos
pictóricos; el cubismo, el impresionismo, el estilo clásico europeo y el arte azteca.
En 1921 Diego regresa a México para realizar una de sus más grandes obras, La Tierra Fecunda, y con ella
marca el inicio del muralismo mexicano. Rivera expuso sus obras en Nueva York y realizó murales en el
instituto de Detroit y en el Centro Rockefeller.
Diego Rivera creó con sus murales una memoria visual del pasado histórico de México, la cual le regala al
espectador emociones llenas de color, sentimientos de dolor, honor, orgullo y magia.

Um sich das Leben leichter zu machen, haben die Menschen Regeln, die sagen, was man in einer Situation tun darf und was man nicht tun soll. Diese Regeln machen klar, ob mane in kleines Geschenk oder Blumen zu einer Party mitbringen soll, ob mane in schwarzes Kleid auf einer Hochzeit tragen kann, wer zuerst “Guten Tag” oder “Grüß Gott” sagt und noch viele Dinge mehr. Manche Leute finden, dass diese Regeln das Leben leichter machen; andere aber sagen, dass sie nur Probleme machen. Wir haben in Salzburg verschiedene Leute gefragt, was sie von diesen Regeln halten.
Wolfgang Bauer, Mechaniker, 60 Jahre, erzählt: “Also ich denke, dass diese Regeln schon sehr gut sind. Ich finde es schade, dass immer weniger Leute heute wissen, wie man sich richtig benimmt. Das sehe ich zum Beispiel, wenn ich mit dem Bus fahre. Meine Mutter hat immer gesagt, dass ich aufstehen soll, wenn eine ältere Person keinen Sitzplatz hat. Die jungen Leute heute scheinen diese REgel nicht zu kennen. Und da muss man dann als alter Mensch stehen. Und auch wenn man den Bus verlassen, will hat man seine Probleme mit diesen jungen Leuten. Sie wollen als erste aus dem Bus aussteigen. Und dann muss man mit ihnen kämpfen, wenn man aus dem Bus will. Ich denke schon, dass di jungen Leute von heute weniger höflich sind.” Sabine Feldengut, Schülerin, 17 Jahre, sieht die Sache etwas anders: “Viele dieser Regeln finde ich ganz gut. Wenn man mit Erwachsenen zu tun hat, dann weiß man, was sie von einem erwarten. Und oft hat man weniger Probleme, wenn man diesen Regeln folgt. Aber manche dieser REgeln finde ich etwas alt. Warum zum Beispiel soll der Mann immer der Frau die Tür aufmachen? Die Rolle der Frau heute ist nicht wie vor 50 Jahren. Viele Frauen arbeiten heute und machen auch viele andere Sachen selbst und Türen sind für sie heute wirklich kein Problem. Deshalb würde ich es gut finden, wenn man manche dieser Regeln vergessen oder ändern würde, weil sie nicht mehr in die heutige Zeit passen.
Charlotte Melin, Professorin, 45 Jahre, hat interssante Ideen zu diesem Thema. Sie ist eine Amerikanerin, die seit fünfzehn Jahren in Salzburg lebt. Sie unterrichtet hiera n der Universität Englisch. “Jetzt leve ich schon lange in diesem Land. Die Österreicher sind ein charmantes Volk. Manche Sachen sind aber etwas seltsam. Zum Beispiel küssen manche Männer noch immer die Hand der Frau, wenn sie sie treffen. Und dann muss man hier in Österreich auch immer die Titel sagen, wenn man mit jemandem spricht. Manchmal sagt man dann also ‘Grüß Gott’ Herr Professor Doktober Huber’. Und wenn man dann den Titel vergisst oder den falschen benutzt, dann kann man mit manchen Leuten wirklich Probleme bekommen. Aber was ich am schwersten finde, sind die Regeln fü ‘du’ und ‘Sie’. Es gibt so viele dafür. Manche haben mit dem Alter zu tun, manche mit dem Beruf. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich diese Regeln einmal ganz verstehen werde. Oft denke ich, man muss hier geboren sein, um diese Regeln ganz richtig zu benutzen. Manchmal warte ich deshalb lieber bis mire in Österreicher oder eine Österreicherin das ‘Du” anbietet. Denn es ist sehr peinlich, wenn man beginnt ‘du’ zu sagen und die andere Person das nicht will. “

Cambio Climático: ONU busca diálogo transparente Fuente: ONU
El Secretario General de la ONU, Ban Ki-moon, pidió contribuciones positivas, constructivas y viables a los participantes de la Conferencia Mundial de los Pueblos sobre el Cambio Climático, que se celebra en Bolivia.
A la Cumbre, convocada por el presidente de ese país, Evo Morales, asistió la secretaria ejecutiva de la CEPAL,
Alicia Bárcena, quien transmitió el mensaje del titular de la ONU.
“Durante esta semana escucharemos a los que están más expuestos al cambio climático, que son los que

menos han contribuido al problema, pero serán los primeros y más afectados por sus efectos”, dice el mensaje
enviado por Ban.
Bárcena señaló el interés del Secretario General de recibir propuestas en materia de reducción de emisiones y
expansión de energías limpias; así como el deseo de que las deliberaciones de este encuentro contribuyan a la
próxima Conferencia de la ONU sobre Cambio Climático, que se celebrará a fin de año en México.
Al evento en Bolivia se han inscrito unas 20.000 personas de más de 120 países. Entre ellos, representantes de
