Predisposing Activity – Asthma Case Study
Dear Participants,
The predisposing activity requires GPs to identify perceived learning needs and provides the opportunity for self-reflection of current practices. It is also designed to augment skills and highlight systems that aim to prepare for, and eventually reach, your own goals prior to the structured learning activity at the Active Learning Module (ALM).
The aims of this activity are to: establish your current knowledge, skills and attitudes prior to participating within the face-to-face
Mastering Allergy and Asthma ALM, thus providing an opportunity to improve your ability to achieve better patient outcomes
prepare you in formulating your own learning outcomes, which determine what you want to achieve as a result of attending the structured learning component of the Mastering Allergy and Asthma ALM.
Please ensure you read and complete each section of the predisposing activity prior to attending the ALM. While you should bring the predisposing activity with you on the day of the workshop, you are not required to submit it. Rather, it will be checked for completion at registration on 27th October 2018.
General Practitioners must complete the predisposing activity prior to participating within the Mastering Allergy and Asthma Educational Workshop to be eligible for the 40 Category 1 Continued Professional Development Points associated with the Mastering Allergy and Asthma ALM.
