Waverley Drug and Alcohol Centre is a non-government organisation providing assessment, counselling and a referral service for the local community.
All our counsellors have special expertise in the alcohol and other drug fields.
The services we offer include:

• Assessment and Referral
• Information and Education
• Group Programs
• Family Support
• Lifestyle Skills
• Stress Management
We offer confidential assessment, referral and short to medium term professional counselling in a supportive environment to people whose main concern is related to alcohol and/or other drugs.
Who can benefItOur service is designed as a non-residential option for people living and/or working in the Waverley and surrounding area.
We provide assistance to family members and/or significant others affected by someone else’s alcohol and/or other drug use.
We run a weekly SMART recovery group for people struggling with addictions.
coSt This service continues to operate with the assistance of client donations.
The suggested donation for counselling is:

liver damage)
• Relationship problems (eg: aggressive behaviour, isolation, conflict, separation)
• Work-related problems (eg: sickness, dismissal, poor performance)
• Financial problems (eg: loss of employment, debts, inability to plan, gambling)
• Legal problems (eg: drink-driving, assault, possession of illicit drugs,
domestic violence)
• Dependence and withdrawals (eg: compulsion to use, anxiety, agitation, sweats,
depression)
• Unsafe use (eg: drinking above recommended levels,
sharing needles, overdoses, risk-taking behaviour)
