Waste Management Indore - Kite Festival Makar Sankranti is one
of the most auspicious day for the Hindus, and is celebrated in
almost all parts of the country in myriad cultural forms, with
great devotion, fervor & gaiety. Lakhs of people take a dip in
places like Ganga Sagar & Prayag and pray to Lord Sun. It is
celebrated with pomp in southern parts of the country as Pongal,

The festival of Makara Sankranti also honours and pays respect to
Saraswati Goddess of Knowledge. Makara Sankranti represents a
period of illumination, peace, affluence and happiness. Kite flying
is an inevitable part of the festival in Madhya Pradesh & Uttar
Pradesh.

Kite Flying Festival & Sweets Distribution. All the Employees
Participated in Kite Flying and relished Kite Flying. Makar
Sankranti is one of the Joyful festival of India and normally
Indian Boys are very fond of this festival. But now because of our
busy schedules we dont get a chance to fly kites. The Initiative of
Celebrating Kite Flying Festival by the Management of Waste
Management Indore was a good surprise for all the employees. This
activity filled the Heart of all the Employees with pleasure. All
the Employees were grateful to Management of Waste Management
Indore because with the small effort of the Management they could
