This is a ‘first’ for the Camp Casey-Hovey BOSS program at the popular Warrior’s Club. Aspiring rappers can compete against each other in this freestyle rap battle before an audience and three judges. You’ll have 30 seconds to do your thing in each of two rounds, so start practicing and get your act together. The winner gets a trophy and will be invited back the following month to defend his or her title.
Minimum participation of 20 required.
Entry Fee: $5

Ring in New Year with this
New Service! Ring in the New Year with New Service Kindle Fires (color) and Kindle Paperwhites (black & white). They will be available for check-out as Area I libraries receive them from the factory. These new E-Reading devices will be available for a maximum 2-week period. In order to check one of these devices out, library patrons must acknowledge and sign a check-out policy regarding loss or damage to the device while in their custody. Anyone interested in checking out one of the new E-Readers should contact their local library. Every effort will be made to get one to you as quickly as possible.
The library management team welcomes, and greatly appreciates, patron feedback regarding not only this new service, but all library services as well. Patrons are encouraged to visit their Area library manager with any suggestions or comments they may have to improve library service in their community.
