• The idea that there is a class struggle between the poor and the rich.

the different social classes – poor and rich– capitalists and workers

• A book written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.
• It talks about the class struggle.
• It talks about Marxist beliefs.
Equality
• Everyone being treated exactly the same.
• Economic equality means everyone makes the same money.
• Social equality means everyone is equally important.
Centralized Government
• where the power of the government is in the center and departments are created to handle certain problems.
Monarchy• A country where the
person in charge is a king or queen.
• Control of the country is held by 1 single person.
• Monarch means “ruler”

• To give up the right to rule as a king or monarch.
• The king abdicated means the king says he will not longer be king.
• If a king is forced to abdicate it means they MAKE him say he won’t be king anymore.

industry– Steel industry makes steel in
factories– Automobile industry makes

• Anything having to do with planting crops or raising livestock.

• The Hammer and Sickle is part of communist symbolism.
• It represents the Hammer of industrialization and the Sickle of agriculture.
Comrade
• Means “friend”• Someone who you
share activities with and are equal to.
Suppress
• To force a person to stop certain activities.
