VizDyn, - the3D globe for Engineers and Scientists
VizDyn is Mission Logic’s signature geospatial environment, a bleeding edge 3D
web GL globe that is navigable, customizable and networkable.
Scalable 3D Display
VizDyn has multiple uses and multiple configurations. VizDyn can ingest and
display thousands of data points (such as real-time aircraft or maritime
vessels).
VizDyn can be hosted on a customer’s server, displaying streaming data
from a 3rd party, or that customer’s own data and information (such as a
trucking fleet).
VizDyn can sit on a company’s server and display or be the base map to that
company’s own applications (such as ordering imagery).
VizDyn can sit on a public server and have a login where registered users
can upload photos, comments, position information and more…

Moving from a 2D Map to a 3D
Environment?
Use VizDyn to show you content on in
3 Dimensions?
Need to show terrain, to scale the
content? VizDyn intakes shape files,
jpegs, and most other files natively!
Multiple Utilities
Need to display content?
VizDyn imports multiple
terrain files, imagery and
content data-streams such as
ships, truck fleets, trains,
aircraft, and any other physical
assets that move through
space and time.
In fact, VizDyn includes, and
displays all of the satellites in
Analytical Graphics’ Satellite
Database.

Terrain or 3D model upload
wizard
VizDyn accepts all terrain types
including hi-res, Jpeg 2000, DTMs,
DSMs, SRTM and others. VizDyn is
unique in 3D viewing tools in that
analysis can be performed- routes
modeled, precise terrain masking
effects examined, sensor and camera
coverage determined.

Multiple Analysis Tools
Identify and generate a report
of any ships that have crossed
an area of interest in a
particular time window (EEZ,
canal, Port/anchorage).
Real-time AIS data feeds visualized, and
analyzed, in 3 Dimensions.
Data and Streaming Data Displays
Generate reports on ships that have exhibited
a variety of suspicious behavior

Use the Timeline
tool to determine
any ship’s exact
position at some
historical date.
Apply Tools to Perform Analysis
Quickly determine which
satellite would have
imaged a vessel at any
exact time in the past at
any location on earth
Satellite Overflight
Users can upload shape-files or areas of
interests- ports, EEZs, etc. and generate reports
of what imagery is available for any past time
and date for collection of archived imagery, or to
know which satellite will image their area of
interest in the future to plan future collections.
Treat it as a Map, with Tools
This application, called
Remote Sensing Tool Kit,
is built upon the VizDyn
globe.
Its function is to enable
users to upload one or
multiple shape files of
areas of interest and
then generate reports as
to when a satellite from
the Digital Globe
constellation will make
an imaging pass.
In this application, users
can directly generate an
order to digital globe for
an image.
The Remote Sensing Toolkit
This tool enables users to identify the best location on terrain for
a sensor. The red is high signal quality (signal to noise ration, bit
error loss and other metrics can be applied).
The heat map enables users to know the range and quality of a
signal, and from what altitude (ground, pole antenna, tethered
balloon mount).
The sensor is a point on the globe and can be simply moved using
a mouse.
This tool visualizes sensor date- camera, heat-sensor,
audio- sensor, etc. on terrain. Colors indicate age of image
or quality of signal received back from sensor.
In this image blue indicates un-viewed, while green
indicates old data, red is most recent.
Altitude is determined simply- use the cursor to move the
route-lines.
Sophisticated Utility
In this image, real-time weather is streamed onto
the VizDyn Globe from a computerized radar data
set.
Seen here is the coverage of a sensor (perhaps a
radio) as an aircraft flies a route of 2000 feet. A
pilot can model this before his flight to determine
the best sensor, or amplifier and at what altitude
to achieve desired coverage area and quality of
signal.
