WelcomeThe City of Greater Bendigo is proud to support the 2016 Victorian Seniors Festival and celebrate and recognise the contribution of older Australians to our community.
This year’s festival has something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you are a history buff, a music or dance lover or you prefer sports or socialising over afternoon tea, this year’s festival program has you covered!
A highlight of this year’s program is the opening event, Athol Guy: The Seekers Story on at the Capital on October 3. Other highlights include a tour of Bendigo’s cemeteries, a screening of That Sugar Film, a cooking masterclass, a seniors night at the Bendigo Harness Club and special pop up tours of the Bendigo Art Gallery. Various concerts, come and try sports days, open days as well as walking tours of central Bendigo will be sure to catch your interest.
The events are designed to provide you with an opportunity to learn something new, meet like-minded people and step outside of your comfort zone.
We hope you enjoy the festival.
