TYLO - DOXY 200WSP
DESCRIPTIONAn antibiotic for the treatment of respiratory and
gastro-intestinal bacterial infections in poultry. Alsoused in
calves, pigs, lambs and goat kids.
COMPOSITIONContains per gram:
Tylosin Tartrate ..................... 100 mg
Doxycycline Hyclate ................ 100 mg
INDICATIONSTYLO-DOXY 200 WSP is a combination of Tylosin and
Doxycycline in a synergestic antibiotic formulation for
thetreatment of respiratory and gastro-intestinal infections in
poultry, pigs, calves lambs and goat kids. Doxycyclineis effective
against gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens, has a great
affinity to the lungs and istherefore especially useful for
treatment of bacterial respiratory infections. Tylosin is very
effective againstmany respiratory and gastro-intestinal
pathogens.
TYLO-DOXY 200 WSP is effective against many gram-positive and
gram-negative pathogens like E.coli,Staphylococcus, Streptococcus,
Haemophilus, Bordetella, Pasteurella, Leptospira, Campylobacter,
Salmonella,Erysipelothrix, Moraxella, Mycoplasma, Rickettsia and
Chlamydia spp. It is also effective against Tryponemahyodysenteriae
in pigs
CONTRAINDICATIONS / PRECAUTIONS Hypersensitivity to Tylosin
and/or Tetracyclines
Use only in pre-ruminant calves, lambs and goat kids
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATIONFor oral administration via feed or
drinking water
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours
When used in feed, the medicated feed should be used
immediately
