The Access systems are configured with 4 automated docking modules to provide easy access into the system without terminating a run in
progress.
Each Echo® Module is installed with an Echo® Turntable to allow standalone use and provide easy accessibility for maintenance.

Building management system option
The Access Sample Management systems provide the option to connect and communicate to lab building management systems (BMS).This enables the following functionality and features:• Install environment probe/monitor to provide feedback of system environment conditions to lab HVAC/BMS to allow BMS to adjust system
input air to meet desired conditions• Automated system reaction to BMS feedback in the event of HVAC failure.
- Tempo flags plates and continues run.• Automated system response to BMS feedback in the event of lab power failure.
- If system has been running on generator power for a user specified amount of time, Tempo will stop run -> cap all tubes -> return to storage -> suspend any other runs from starting.
Blanking panels • Panels that install in place of a removed module, to allow for the system to operate while maintaining safety and the internal environment
Secondary containment • Drip drays and waste management options for bulk dispensing devices that use reagent bottles and priming reservoirs

Building Management System (BMS)
The Access system has an option to connect to a lab BMS. This connection is hardwired directly from lab BMS to the top of the robot module and requires 5, 24 - 22 AWG , 24V dry wires. The following figure highlights the connections needed.
