We are delighted to announce that Ananta Aspen Centre’s flagship leadershipprogramme, The India Leadership Initiative, is now the Kamalnayan BajajFellowship. The celebration took place on 25th November 2016 in New Delhi at avery well attended evening which included Trustees of Ananta Centre and AnantaAspen Centre, Alumni of the Fellowship, special invitees and the cohort of thenewly launched Class VI.

artisans from the deserts of Rajasthan, plains of Eastern U.P andManipur.

of Second Wave shared the inspiring journey of hisventure , a B2B coffee brand that aims atimproving the livelihood of more than 1,00,000 Adivasi coffee growers inthe Araku Valley region.

of 3rd Generation talked about his “unplanned”venture , a 4 year old Bottom of the Pyramid focuseddistribution platform that offers customized structuring of financial andinsurance products to suit the demands of investors and customers.

4sight fellow spoke about his 6 year old venture, a functional dairy food company with an ethical

milk sourcing network. Today, his venture has turned into a ‘littlecompany’ with big ideas about Nourishing Truly Pure living fromconsumers to farmers.

MandakiniWomen Weavers is an initiative to provide women with sustainablelivelihoods linked to global markets through the creation of a new hub forhandlooms to scale opportunities for women weavers across India’sHimalayan region.

We would like to congratulate of Second Waveon becoming an AGLN Senior Moderator. Manoj has moderatedtwo classes of the Bajaj Fellowship and is moderating the currentclass. He has also moderated sessions at the Telengana StatePolice Academy, The Sri Ram Ananta Aspen Leadership Schooland several sessions at the Resnick Action Forum.

BANYAN TREE DINNERThe fourth edition of the Banyan Tree Dinner tookplace on 24th February at Mohali. It was attended by aninteresting and diverse group of minds from differentwalks of life.

GRADUATION OF THE LEADERSHIPPROGRAMME AT THE POLICE ACADEMYThe Values based Leadership Programme conducted byAnanta Aspen Centre at the Telangana State PoliceAcademy included participants from the Indian PoliceService, corporates and civil society. The three seminarprogramme spread over one year concluded with theirgraduation on the evening of 8th February 2017.

FAMOUS V REUNIONWithin 4 months of graduation, the Famous V Fellowshad their first reunion in December 2016 in Goa. Theweekend included self-moderated readings, fellowshipand lots of bonding.

WHATTHEHEX– THE CHALLENGE OFLEADERSHIP SEMINARFollowing the launch evening, Bajaj Fellowship Class VI,who named themselves WhatTheHEX, continued withtheir Challenge of Leadership Seminar ably moderatedby James Abraham, Manoj Kumar and Sejal Shah Gulati.

AT A TIME OF CHANGE, transformation and vistas for the nation, Bajaj fellows felt that there was a need to convene,ideate and raise questions. The second edition of Ideas India took place in the second weekend of November 2016 atDamdama. The focus of Ananta Godrej Ideas India 2016 was the Indian Constitution. The engaging sessions with newthoughts and ideas explored a wide spectrum of themes like Getting India Future Ready, Homeland Security, Women’sRole in Nation Building etc. It wasn’t just about rich dialogues but also about actionable ideas. Ideas 2016 was convenedby Bhairavi Jani of the 3rd Generation. The dialogue based sessions were ably moderated by Bajaj Fellowship alumniincluding James Abraham, Anant Maheshwari, Indrani Bagchi, Neera Nundy, Kalyan Akkipeddi, Sumeeta Banerji,Sanjay Jaju, Abheek Singhi, Karma Paljor, Mhon Kikon etc.
