• Established in 1996, the University of Washington Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME accredited program which provides comprehensive training and experience in sports medicine.
• Our program is sponsored by the UW Department of Family Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital.
• We accept candidates with training in family medicine, internal medicine and pediatricsthrough 2 tracks (FM/IM and Pediatric).

• Deliver comprehensive training in outpatient primary care sports medicine, including both medical and musculoskeletal aspects of care

Advanced Procedural Training
• Our fellows carry a scholarly project under the mentorship of Dr. Jon Drezner and the Seattle Children’s Concussion Program, lead by Dr. Sara Chrisman

• The clinical experience of the UW Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship is designed to allow our fellows to develop expertise in caring for a wide range of medical and musculoskeletal problems in individuals of all ages
• There are longitudinal clinical experiences (primary care, sports medicine, training room) as well as specialty rotations
• Fellows typically get between 30—400 U/S guided procedures, including > 150 diagnostic ultrasounds
• Fellows carry their own panel• Sample schedule
