An illness can be infectious or non-infectious illness:
• Non-infectious illnesses have different causes.
• Infectious illnesses are caused by harmful bacteria or viruses. Can be contagious or non-contagious.
-An illness is contagious when an ill person transmits theillness to a healthy one.

• Through the respiratory system.
• Through the digestive system.
• Through wounds and cuts.

Disinfect wounds.
Wash our hands before meals.
Wash uncooked food.
Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze.
Don´t share eating utensils.
