OTHER FEESIncome from the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSA Fee) is used to improve services and facilities on and off campus. The SSA Fee is helping to build a better university experience for all students. The SSA Fee is charged on the basis of study load. In 2018, the Fee is $44.10 per 3 credit points.
Most international students are required to organise Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) from an approved insurance provider for the length of your visa. OSHC can be purchased through JCU and paid together with your other university fees, or you may organise it directly with the OSHC provider.
Living CostsACCOMMODATIONThere are two key options available for accommodation. You can choose to package your Study Abroad experience with Student One’s Premium accommodation. Accommodation prices start from $309 per week. Alternately, you can source your own private accommodation.

Entry RequirementsYou must have successfully completed 6 months of full-time study at a recognised higher education institution and received a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.9 out of 7.0, or minimum average results of approximately 65-70%.
You may be eligible to apply directly after high school and must provide your High School Certificate (or equivalent). These applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

How to apply
Check your eligibility with your home university and ensure JCU subjects offered will contribute credit to your degree at your home university.
Throughout your Study Abroad you will complete three subjects including a Professional Internship. Choose two subjects from the list of academic study areas.
Step 1
Complete the application form www.jcub.edu.au/future-students/how-to-apply/. Include all your certified academic transcripts and degree certificates. Forward all your supporting documentation to [email protected]
Your application will be assessed based on academic and English entry requirements. If successful we will generate a Letter of Offer. Once you have received your Letter of Offer, please sign each page, complete Acceptance and Payment form and meet any conditions outlined in your offer schedule.
