BarretinaIt is a traditional hat that was worn in Catalonia.
Today, the barretina is not a longer commonly worn in everyday life, but it is still
used in traditional dances, or as a symbol of Catalan
identity.
It has the form of a bag, made of wool. Usually it is red and sometimes purple.
The barretina was typical for the Catalan men while women wore rets o gandalles. (also worn in the head).
EspardenyesThis shoes are typical from Catalonia and Pais Valencia. The typical one is white and covers, with cloth, all the foot.
We use this to dance sardanes (the typical dance from Catalonia).
The name "El Caganer” literally means "the crapper" or "the shitter".
It is a Christmas figure in Catalonia and the neighbouring areas with Catalan culture such as Andorra, Valencia and Northern Catalonia (in southern France).

defecating.
EsteladaIt is an unofficial flag typically flown by Catalan separatists to express their support for the independence of Catalonia from Spain.

The design of the Estelada comprises the red-and-yellow bars of the Senyera (oficial flag), with the addition of a five-pointed star in a triangle at the hoist.
