Lokpal among top priorities of Govt: PMO

Setting up of the anti-corrup-tion body Lokpal is among thekey measures that are the top pri-orities of the government, thePrime Minister’s Office has said.

In its communication to theMinistry of Personnel, PublicGrievances and Pensions, thePMO has identified setting upof Lokpal, passing of Citizen’sGrievances Bill and amend-ments to the Prevention ofCorruption Act as immediatethrust areas of the Government,official sources said.(PTI)
