LED PUBLIC LIGHTING_1
•Torraca is the world’s first town entirely illuminated with LED (Light-Emitting Diodes) streetlights (streets to access the town + old town centre)
•700 lighting spots
•high energy efficiency technology of 80 LPW-lumens per Watt patented and installed by Elettronica Gelbison, a local start-up company specialised in electronic systems
•minimum environmental impact
•Forecast saving = 22.000 €/year also due to low maintenance requirements
