Hi from Nat’l. Chevy, It’s April 16, just before Easter, and guess what ... it looks like more snow for us. Predictions are for 8-10” so those pictures of the parts cars coming out of the snow are going to change yet again. It got into the 60’s, which melted a lot of snow, but we really are wondering if winter is ever going to end this year. The new catalog is at the printer. We’re waiting on a final proof and then it will be ready to send to you, hopefully with your next newsletter. We didn’t get everything we wanted into it but will keep you informed of new products as we finish them. Keep watching your newsletter. I’m really hoping it warms up soon though. Paul and I have a trip planned for the NASCAR race in Kansas City at the beginning of May and are hoping not to freeze while watching the race. Thanks again to those of you who have been sending the great pictures and articles about your car. I appreciate the help and hope to get pictures from a few more people. ‘Til next time......

You requested short articles and photos in your last newsletter. I purchased a new 1951 Chevrolet Convertible in 1951 at age 19 for $2,015. Since I sold that car in 1953, I have always wanted another one. I finally found one not fully restored 18 months ago in California. I completed the restoration and added fender skirts and Vintage Air. The car is now restored in mint condition with all new chassis running gear restored to original. The frame and chassis were powder coated. The power train including 235 cu. in. engine has only 1,600 miles since restoration. It has won first place in three car shows and Best of Show and first place in its division in the fourth show where there were over 250 entries.

Now Showing ____________________________ Hey guys, Just wanted to send in some pics of my 1954 Chevy BelAir. Thank God for you guys because I had a h*ll of a time getting some of my parts until I found you. So my name is Charlie Rishel and I’m the President and Founder of the Deuces Wild Car Club in Levittown, PA. I have a 1954 Chevy BelAir 2-door Coupe. I just put a 350 crate motor in and thanks to National Chevy I’m able to replace a lot of the parts on her a little at a time. Anyway, I don’t know if you’re interested or not but I’m adding a picture or two of my car and club logo for your newsletter if you’re interested. Thank you again for all your hard work to keep these old rides looking pretty, lol.
