Traditional Tibetan cuisine is mainly based on dairy products (yak milk and cheese), yak meat and barley.
Momos are another type of dumplings served in
Tibet, rarely seen in China. They are deeply dried and filled with yak meat and streamed vegetables.

It’s a fried bread stick mainly made of dough, very soft and filling.

It is a morning ritual for all Tibetans to drink either a salted yak butter tea or a sweet milk tea with their breakfast rolls.
Baozi
They are not filled with mince and veggies, but with yak meat which makes them unique. There are not many vegetables inside neither and they are served with pepper oil sauce for taste.
Yak wraps
Yak meat tastes like a duck meat, a little chewy.
Yogurts are kind of food full of nourishing components and easier to digest, very creamy and tasty made from yak’s milk.
