Begin with a small amount of Pre-Wrap

Put an anchor strip around the wrist close to the hand

Split the tape for Spicas

Go all the way around the hand – no ribbons

Pinch the tape where it crosses the crease of the thumb

Circle the thumb completely

Pinch again Overlap by about half tape width

End with one closure strip around the wrist

Make sure that it is neat

Check for tightness • capillary bed refill • numbness • cold or blue
