Dokkaebi Market Dokkaebi Market is a traditional market that sells food ingredients and it is located at the end of Usadan-gil. The market’s characteristic disappearing upon periods of district law enforcement and reappearing upon the ending of such a period has coined it as a‘dokkaebi,’ meaning goblin or ghost.

▶ This 3.3km-long walking path runs from the Wolgye Station, exit 4’s Nokcheon Middle School to the Yuksa Intersection. Since December, 2010, the city of Seoul has been conducting the Gyeongchun Line Restoration Project to turn the shutdown railway section into a communal area for neighboring residents.
▶ The Nowon-gu created this forest path as an urban agriculture space and a walking area for community residents. It’s a place for entertaining activities as well for visitors including a rail bike, rail hand car park and more!
▶ The Gyeongchun Line has been connecting Chuncheon with Seoul until 2010 since its opening in 1939. Once providing the means of transport across the Bukhangang River out to Chuncheon for college student gatherings, it now remains as a symbol of romance and youth.

SeMA Bunker

▶ In 2013, it was designated an asset of the cultural heritage of Seoul and was opened last October as Yeouido’s culture & art complex under the official name of SeMA Bunker. It takes its once original form and is home to approximately 495 sq. meters of exhibition hall and 66 sq. meters of history gallery.
Travel back in time in the history gallery! Once utilized as an exclusive hideout for high-level officials, the now history gallery houses the shower and bathroom as they had been, as well as the exclusive sofa furniture now refurbished and available to sit on.
▶ A secret underground area discovered during the construction of the Yeouido Bus Transfer Center in 2005. While home to modern-day Korean history, the locked up space was initially explored using an endoscope. It is believed that the space was used for the protection and refuging of high-level government officials during the 1970s cold war period and carries some historical significance.
Check out the durability of the bunker Prepare to be fascinated by the sheer thickness of the bunker and discover the ability that withstands even the toughest of attacks.
