We are your community foundation.
For today, for tomorrow, forever!
One day. One donation. One big difference. On May 5, 2017, for every dollar you give to one of these 25 nonprofits, the Scranton Area Community Foundation will match your gift. Dollar for dollar. Up to $1,000 each.
$5.00 becomes $10.00
$100.00 becomes $200.00 Together, in one day, we can provide over $50,000.00 worth of funding to the nonprofits of Lackawanna County. Our partnering nonprofit agencies educate our children and give them hope, rescue animals, rebuild and revitalize our neighborhoods, empower the disadvantaged, and promote culture. Take the challenge on the first Friday in May and help these 25 nonprofits raise $1,000 each. The Scranton Area Community Foundation will double that amount. At the end of the day, we can raise over $50,000 to strengthen the invaluable work and services these organizations provide to the citizens of Northeastern PA. During the past two years, your
generosity provided over $173,000 of
support to our most essential programs.
