Explained One ticket and one price
The Stagecoach Bus Dayrider Gold ticket can be used all day on any of the Stagecoach bus routes shown in this travel guide which is centred on Northamptonshire, but also show’s the surrounding counties which border the county and the various Stagecoach Bus routes which feed into those counties from it. Below explains the various ticket prices, and other useful pieces of information. The Stagecoach Bus Dayrider Gold ticket offers a cheap and inexpensive way when travelling to visit Pubs and Beer Festivals.
• The Stagecoach bus Dayrider Gold ticket is priced at £10.80p** but offers the traveller options of alighting and/or breaking the journey as and when to visit a pub along the bus routes shown. In Oxfordshire its £7-50p.
• Depending on where you start your journey, how you plan to use this guide, and what pubs you wish to visit.
• But if you wish you can purchase a weekly Megarider ticket this can vary with Stagecoach Operators between £23* and £26*** for a week, if using the Stagecoach East X5 £30 a week.
• Megarider Ticket based on a purchase from a Stagecoach in Oxfordshire* Bus. Stagecoach Midlands (Northamptonshire) *** bus.
• ** The price is based on the changes which took effect from April 2011 in Northamptonshire.
• The X5 service is a coach service and ticket price requires an additional £1.50p if you plan to include it in your journey schedule. When boarding your bus, and intend to use the X5 please ask the driver to include it in your ticket price.
• The English National Concessionary Bus Pass for Over 60`s and disabled is valid in Northamptonshire from 0930 Monday to Friday, and is valid all day at weekends and Bank Holiday Mondays. In Oxfordshire it starts at 0900, and the X5 regardless of where you board has a 0930 start with the Pass.
• Daytime Travel means that journeys on those bus routes allow you travel up to 1800 as many services finish between 1800 and 1830 to and from destinations, making an early return necessary in the time you may have, at your furthest point, to meet other services if need be to return on a homeward leg.
• Some of the bus routes shown have details of last available bus for return journeys
