The problem of a narrow alveolar ridge is very actual. We had a limited number of techniques for ridge augmentation. Bone aug-mentation with bone blocks needs 6-8 months for block’s inte-gration, then we need 2-3 months for implants osseointegration and prosthodontist able to fix prosthesis in 10-12 months after treatment starting. Now we have an opportunity to dramatically
speed up the process. New technic of ridge splitting lets you install implants simultaneously with bone grafting and after 3 months to install permanent crowns. AnyRidge implants allow to split the crest safely and predictability, achieving good results.
Biologically, the growth factors are always active and are essential for all the healing process. However, in clinic, the most frequent question is: do they are always active?The aim of this course is to understand how the growth factors are active and how we can obtain the best results in clinical use: in soft tissue management and bone augmentations.
The evidence is more known today: the growth factors are released by platelets and white cells and they need several conditions and other substances to be really successful. There are also a lot of factors who counteract their activity.

In this workshop, the New Classification & Approaches for Minimally Invasive Sinus Grafting will be presented. Attendees will learn alternative surgical approaches to the lateral window technique. Innovative sinus bone grafting will be presented with advantages and disadvantages of each technique. The lecture will outline and give guidance on which techniques to employ given the morphology of the sinus. We will also present a unique crestal approach to sinus grafting that is not a blind technique. The procedure is a sinus lift and
grafting technique that results in faster healing, virtually no swelling or bruising, and higher patient satisfaction with predictable outcome. Using this innovative technique in most cases you can avoid ac-cessing sinus cavities using lateral window procedures. In situations that must involve lateral window, the clinician introduces an easy and predictable lateral window technique. We will also present an alternative to using sinus lift procedure, palatal implants.

In this workshop, we would like to introduce and share “R2D4/6” (all-on-four, all-on-six) that can be applied to fully edentulous patients. The All-on-4 treatment concept is a prosthodontic procedure that provides an immediate, 10 to 14 unit screw-retained provisional prosthesis after 4 implants placement on the edentulous arch. Terminal implant placement is intentionally angulated (30 to 40 degrees) to avoid anatomic structures like nerve or maxillary sinus. Traditionally, all-on-4 procedure is technique-sensitive and sometimes involves painstaking yet frustrating temporization. R2GATE can simplify both the surgery and temporization by providing both R2Stent and CAD/CAM
derived, screw-retained temporary restoration prior to surgery. MegaGen named this revolutionary procedure “R2D4 / R2D6”.
