A few things to remember before clicking the link below:
1. Always get parent/guardian permission before participating in any exercise activities.
2. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. Modify if needed and always take breaks if you need to.
3. Give yourself plenty of space to move around.
4. DO NOT participate if you are injured or sick. Let your body rest.
5. Have fun and don’t goof off during warm up, exercises, and stretching activities.
Now that we have covered the basics, click on the link below and follow along with the warm up before moving on with the lesson (unless injured or sick).

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A VOLUNTARY MUSCLE AND INVOLUNTARY MUSCLE?
4
• VOLUNTARY MUSCLES - VOLUNTARY MUSCLES ARE ALL OF THE MUSCLES THAT WE CONTROL, MEANING WE HAVE THE CHOICE TO COMPLETE THE MOTIONS AND ACTIONS. BREATHING, OUR HEART PUMPING BLOOD THROUGHOUT OUR BODY, DIGESTING FOOD AFTER WE EAT IT, AND BLINKING!
• INVOLUNTARY MUSCLES - THESE MUSCLES WORK ON THEIR OWN, OR WITHOUT US HAVING TO THINK ABOUT IT. SOME EXAMPLES INCLUDE BREATHING, OUR HEART PUMPING BLOOD THROUGHOUT OUR BODY, DIGESTING FOOD AFTER WEEAT IT, AND BLINKING!
Is it voluntary or involuntary? Click here to practice identifying the difference.

FLEXEY SAYS….Just like when we played “SkelleySays” in the classroom, I want you to play a game of “FlexeySays” with a sibling, parent, or guardian by using this diagram.
Remember to touch the muscle as you say it to help identify where some of these major muscles are in YOUR body.
Challenge: Can you trick your parent or guardian during this game of Simon, I mean Flexey, Says? Click here to continue.
