• The Kuna are one of the seven indigenous groups in Panama.
• The Kuna people are located on the San Blas islands which are coral atolls surrounded by beautiful clear waters on the Caribbean side of Panama .
• The Kuna live in small communities on these rural islands in family units of between 5 and 10 members in each hut.
• Kuna women are known for their traditional dress and beautiful handicraft called molas which are reverse appliques.
