* meet our institution’s objectives

* make the objectives accessible / visual / tangible for students and teachers (checklists after each unit/module)

* be theme-based, communicative, skills-integrated and production oriented

* be a multimedia book (more like a guidebook / reference book linking the objectives to other resources)

* encourage student-centered approach

* promote critical thinking
