The Forbidden Kingdom III
Colossians 1:13-14• 13 For he has rescued us from the
dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, • 14 in whom we have redemption,
the forgiveness of sins.
Flesh The flesh, denotes mere human nature, the earthly nature of man apart from divine influence, and therefore prone to sin and opposed to God
Romans 7:18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but [how] to perform that which is good I find not.
Human • The human nature is always
fighting for dominion of your life. • The human nature is always trying
to revive the old man. • The human nature is always trying
to pull you into the system of this world.
Galatians 5:19-21
• 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
• 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
• 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
•The danger in life is to think that you can do life on your own. •We as human beings do not
have the ability to follow the path of righteousness within our selves.
• In order to live the Kingdom life you must depend totally and completely on the grace of God.• 2 Corinthians 12:9And he said unto
me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
• Jude 1:21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.• 22And of some have
compassion, making a difference:
• 23And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.• 24 Now unto him that is able to
keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
